An Eggs And Milk Election In 2008

For about 2 years, on this site, and with the Carroll Daily Times Herald and Iowa Independent, I've spent hours reporting about the 2008 election. What will make the difference? Nuance this, and nuance that. Perhaps this election will be all about eggs and milk.

See what The New York Times reports on the prices of these household staples.

Egg prices in May were up 18.2 percent from a year ago, while bread rose 15.9 percent and milk was up 10.2 percent, according to Consumer Price Index data. With those kinds of spikes, the big question most consumers are asking is whether it’s time to switch grocers.

Cool article.
Sorry I am late catching it.

I had to make a reference to 'Milk and Eggs' in a post I made today, so I linked up your blog. Hopefully it will bring you some more readers. It's an important topic.
